This week holds two beneficial trine aspects that color our world with good energy and possibilities: Jupiter-Neptune (Jupiter in Scorpio trine Neptune in Pisces), exact on Sunday, August 19, and Saturn-Uranus (Saturn in Capricorn trine Uranus in Taurus). Jupiter-Neptune is an uplifting, visionary, artistic aspect that can lift our spirits. Saturn-Uranus is a combination that can discover and innovate, and apply practical structure and grit to manifest brilliant, breakthrough ideas.
The Sun is in playful Leo for a few more days, and then shifts to practical, hard-working earth sign Virgo on August 22. After summer fun and leisure, it’s back to school and back to work. Mercury has just turned direct. Communication will start to clear, though Mercury is still in its shadow until September 2.

Sunday’s big cosmic event is the exact trine of Jupiter and Neptune. This other-worldly, creative energy is amplified by benefic lunar aspects to Mercury and Venus. Think big and colorful, and imagine how you could realize some of your big dreams. The fiery Sagittarius Moon ignites a sense of adventure.
We are lucky to be gifted with another day warmed by the sunny Sagittarius Moon on Monday, which is in a flowing trine to the Sun in fixed fire Leo. Light the beginning of your work week with the glow of this warm, brilliant, luminous energy.
Tuesday and Wednesday are powerful work days when a lot can be accomplished. The Moon is in action-oriented cardinal earth Capricorn where it is industrious and goal-oriented. Tuesday this hard-working Moon forms an Earth Grand Trine with Uranus and Saturn. Tuesday is my daughter Sophia’s 29th birthday!
Wednesday the Sun ingresses into hard-working Virgo. The Capricorn Moon conjuncts powerful Pluto, and makes benefic sextiles to Neptune and Jupiter. If you have a goal or a project to be started, or moved forward, Tuesday and Wednesday are two excellent days to give your focused energy, attention, and muscle to the tasks.
Thursday is an edgy day, and may bring some irritations. A Moon-Mars conjunction begins a short void of course Moon period Thursday morning from 7:19 a.m. to 9:56 a.m. It may be hard to get focused, so allow yourself to follow your energy where it wants to go until the Moon moves into Aquarius at 9:56 a.m. A Moon-Uranus square in the afternoon may take us off course, or present some surprises. The Moon conjuncts the South Node later, adding the third edgy alignment to the day; however, with the Moon in air sign Aquarius, we may be able to detach from the entanglements. Go slowly and carefully on Thursday, think outside of the box, and temper frustrations that may come your way.
The Virgo Sun loves to create order out of chaos. The Aquarius Moon loves to create chaos out of order. Thus, the day’s energies are mixed with tendencies toward order and chaos. By evening the Moon is forming a sweet trine to Venus. Make it a social evening with friends.
Saturday the Moon is void of course all day in Aquarius. This is not a definitive day for shopping or decision making. However, the Virgo Sun forms a Grand Earth trine with Saturn in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus. This would be a good day to make great strides with a project, or to put your finances in order and consider how you can create more wealth.
The Full Moon in Pisces lights the sky on Sunday. The Pisces Moon makes benefic sextiles to Uranus and Saturn, infusing the Grand Earth Trine with even more benefic energy. This is yet another glorious day with great promise. Imagine, be inspired, and create!
Mars turns stationary direct on Monday, after having been in retrograde motion for two months. Our energy is now in forward motion. Visionary, expansive planets combine in benefic aspects to color this day with vision and beauty. Be inspired, and position yourself in forward motion.

Moon Void-of-Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it’s difficult to make good decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together, and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. We more easily get lost or meander in trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
